Vandrad Research Labs Services: Xen Linux Hosting .

Vandrad Research Labs provides a virtualised Xen-Linux server system. This means that you can have your own private server on the Internet without the need for expensive hardware and hosting contracts.

Basic Xen Linux server gives you the following:

• 128MB RAM
• 5 GB disk, 1GB swap
• 1 static IP address.
• 1GB of total data per month.
• A Self administered, dedicated Linux server running Debian Linux
• DNS secondary servers if required

Cost: $33.00 (inc GST) per month. No setup fee.

Configured Xen Linux server gives you the following:

• 128MB RAM
• 5 GB disk, 1GB swap
• 1 static IP address.
• 1GB of incoming data per month.
• A Self administered, dedicated Linux server running Debian Linux, configured by VRL with the following software to a negotiated initial configuration:
  • Apache 1.3 Web server
  • PHP, PERL,
  • DNS
  • E-Mail server (SMTP + POP/IMAP)
  • PostgreSQL database
  • DNS secondary servers if required

Cost: 33.00 (inc GST) per month. Setup fee of $90.00.

Additional service that can be provided at extra cost are:

• Server management services - tailored contract.
• Xen Instance reload to a starting configuration ad delivered by VRL.
• Password recovery
• Backup and restore of site data (volume dependent)...
• Server side scripting and CGI services.
• DBA service for your web site (VRL recommends PostgreSQL)
• Content creation.
• Graphic design.
• Domain Name registration and management.
