Vandrad Research Labs provides shared hosting server for web, email and DNS. This means that you can set up your on-line presence and get the advantage of a shared environment administered by a professional.
Shared hosting gives you access to:
- Apache2 web server running on a Debian Linux system.
- PHP, PERL and Python scripting environment
- CGI environment.
- 500MB of disk space.
- Self administered email with 10 email addresses and 10 aliases.
- DNS hosting with an off-site secondary server.
- Access to contents via SFTP only. Windows and Mac client software is freely available. Please see the VRL Links Page for details.
Additional service that can be provided at extra cost are:
- Backup and restore of web site data (volume dependent)...
- Server side scripting and CGI services.
- Database service for your web site (VRL recommends PostgreSQL)
- Content creation.
- Graphic design.
- Domain Name registration and management.
All Vandrad research Labs hosting services are subject to the General Terms and Conditions unless varied by a separate contract.
